Nicole Bushong - Instructor
Nicole had been practicing yoga intermittently for over 10 years, however she was intrigued by the profound physiological and psychological benefits she found that yoga could provide when she started attending yoga at a local studio in 2012. Nicole went on a week-long yoga retreat to Belize in spring of 2013 during a very difficult time in her life, and found such a meaningful connection between yoga and the sense of spiritual and physical renewal she experienced that it led her to seek teacher certification the following year in order to share this wonderful gift with others. She truly believes one purpose of this trying time was to lead her to yoga and all that it provides. Nicole earned her RYT-200 certification in spring of 2015 and has enjoyed teaching a variety of classes in the start of her yoga career. Nicole is also a practicing physical therapist, and enjoys teaching a unique perspective on strength and stability training combined with breath and spiritual messages to provide a meaningful mind-body experience for her students. She believes the spiritual teachings of yoga are universal and can help us all to manage, find meaning, and grow throughout the ups and downs of our lives.
